The fragility of modern production/distribution systems is what is hightlighted here. The war in Ukraine amplifies the nature of that fragility, but there are other circumstances than war which can induce the same results.

The insane dismantling of traditional energy sources is the best example of non-war induced catastrophic breakdown. Fuel dependent delivery systems already under stress from covid-created supply chain issues can amplify into critical breakdown mode in very short order. Then, as this piece so well demostrates, the problems will feed on themselves. Fuel security, food security, personal securities will all collapse without even the need for a ‘war’ – civil or otherwise.

The plethora of fact-based reportage on display here would produce a frightening picture of the immediate future of most western economies if read with even the slightest imagination. The message delivered here deserves a much wider audience than it is likely to receive. Hopefully, somebody smart enough to see that will pick this up and distribute it into media channels where it can reach those who are unwittingly a hare’s breath away from seeing this whole scenario happen right on their doorstep!

Kudos to this author; unusually well put together report chock a block with ‘need to know details’ not found ANYWHERE else!
